“Whale Song” holds a special place in my heart. Created on a 11x14" canvas, these two whale tales were inspired by the mother and baby whales that graced the Cape Cod Canal this past April. These majestic creatures have enchanted us for centuries, and their awe-inspiring beauty is breathtaking when witnessed up close. I was particularly moved by the profound connection between the mother and baby whales, as I recently finished nursing my own baby, Flora. This piece beautifully captures the profound bond between a mother and a baby of any species.
