Hello

Hi, I’m Caroline! I’m a Cape Cod–based artist creating vibrant, coastal-inspired work through both mixed media collage and linocut printmaking. My collages are made from hand-printed gelli plate papers, layered with texture, color, and movement. Separately, I design and hand-carve linocut prints, bringing bold, graphic imagery to life through traditional printmaking techniques. My work is inspired by ocean life, local landscapes, and the simple, joyful moments that define life by the sea.

My Story

I’m an interdisciplinary artist inspired by the joyful energy of coastal life on Cape Cod. Using a gelli plate and acrylic paint, I create layered prints and collages that celebrate ocean scenes, bright color, and simple, feel-good moments.

Alongside my collage work, I create hand-carved linocut designs inspired by everyday joys—like an iced coffee and donut or a peaceful ocean wave. Each piece begins as a sketch, then is carefully carved and printed by hand, giving it a bold, timeless feel. I bring these designs into everyday life through stickers, napkins, tote bags, makeup bags, and tea towels—art you can use and enjoy.

With a background in music, my process is intuitive and expressive, rooted in rhythm, movement, and texture. I’m also the Music Director and Arts Department Chair at Falmouth Academy, where I bring that same creativity into my teaching.

You can find me at summer art fairs across Cape Cod or shop the collection anytime on my website.

Through my work, I hope to bring a sense of joy, calm, and coastal beauty into everyday spaces.

Custom commissions available.

My work work has been featured in ArtResin’s 2024 newsletter and was an Artist-in-Residence at the Hyannis Artist Shanties (2025-2026). Find my art out in the wild at October Gulls, Highfield Holiday Hall, Falmouth Art Center, Cafe Grounded and Coffee Obsession.

"Having a piece of Caroline’s art in your home is like bringing the beauty of nature inside. You can see and feel the passion, love and thoughtfulness behind every piece. She’s incredibly easy to communicate with, talented, and accommodating! I can’t recommend her work enough!"

Marybeth Nichols, MA

"Caroline’s artwork is an exhilarating fusion of sight and sound. Her talent as an artist and musician is evident in her artwork. The vibrant colors and textures she uses radiate energy across the canvas and are linked to the imagined sounds of a melody. Caroline’s artwork is a triumph of both imagination and skill, offering the viewer a visual symphony."

Juliana Starkey, AZ

"Caroline Buccino beautifully blends textures and vintage sheet music in her art, creating nostalgic and dynamic Cape Cod seashore scenes. The aged sheet music and gold specks add an emotional depth, contrasting with the vibrant waves and skies. The artwork's tactile quality invites closer inspection, with layers of paper and paint giving it depth and movement. Her recent exploration into resin art enhances the ocean's fluidity and waves. I fell in love with her art and commissioned a custom piece for a dear friend of mine. The result was nothing short of breathtaking. Beautiful, stunning artwork!"

Heather Raye, MA

"Mrs. Caroline Buccino is a remarkable artist whose ocean landscapes capture the depth, movement, and emotion of the sea with breathtaking beauty. A dedicated music teacher by day and a passionate painter by night, she pours her heart into every brushstroke, creating works that evoke both serenity and power. Her keen eye for color and texture brings waves to life, making viewers feel as if they can hear the crash of the surf and taste the salty air. With  a natural gift for both music and visual art, Caroline seamlessly blends rhythm and harmony into her paintings, offering a deeply moving and immersive experience. Her work is not just seen, it is felt."
